Manila-based Fuels & Lubes Asia Publications Inc. is the foremost information provider in the industry in Asia-Pacific through its publications, its annual conference and its training courses.
It publishes two industry newsletters, Fuels & Lubes International, a bi- monthly, and Oiltrends, a monthly, the Asia-Pacific Guide and the China Guide. It is the sponsor of the Annual Fuels & Lubes Asia Conference, the premier industry event in the region.
Its mission is to propagate the technical know-how of lubrication and fuel technology in Asia-Pacific, and at the same time, to collect and disseminate information on the Asian markets. Company Founder and Editor Vicky Villena-Denton has pursued these goals relentlessly over the past six years. She organized the first Fuels & Lubes Asia Conference and introduced Fuels & Lubes International, which contains unique technical and market information, to the Asian marketplace. She worked with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Society of Tribologists & Lubrication Engineers (STLE) in bringing their fuels and lubrication courses to Asia. She was instrumental in the founding of the Asian section of STLE and is currently serving as regional vice president for Asia of STLE. She is also a member of ASTM Committee D-2 on petroleum products and lubricants.
